Parents & Citizens Association

The Norris Road State School Parents and Citizens Association is a voluntary, non-profit organisation affiliated directly with the school.
The P&C works with the Principal, providing income to the school through fundraising activities held throughout the year enabling them to assist the school in numerous projects.
Parental interest has a profound influence on children’s learning success. Joining the P&C is one of the best ways to show your children how much you value their education and how committed you are to helping our students and school community.
Parents must apply to become official members of the association to be able to vote at meetings. Our Application Form (link, on the right of this page) can be lodged at the AGM or any monthly meeting. Some of the activities that the NRSS P&C Association oversee are:
·         Provide uniform shop
·         Organise and supervise fundraising activities
·         Assist with uniform policy
P&C general meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month in the Library, starting at 6:00pm. Parents/caregivers and other interested community members are warmly welcomed to these meetings and/or to become active members of the P&C association.
The P&C can be contacted through the school office or by email at pandc@norrisroadss.eq.edu.au. Any feedback on events, past or coming, or fundraising suggestion are appreciated.  The current constitution for the association is available for download here.
